In Pakistan, 37% of the population faces food insecurity. It is the first problem that we started working on in July 2012 with the distribution of Ration (groceries) to vetted poor families during the month of Ramadan. Since then we have supported thousands of families in more than 5 districts of Punjab, Pakistan. Every year we do a mega food distribution during Ramadan in the district of Narowal, Lahore, Rawalpindi & PakPattan. This Ramadan we are hoping to reach out to 800 families. This is the best way to distribute your Zakat & Sadaqah to support Muslim poor families in Ramadan. Providing food support to those who have little to no income is the first step to alleviating poverty. Our program ensures that every dollar you donate goes to the most deserving people. For this purpose, our teams first do field surveys, collect data and verify most deserving families.
