Our Team

Management

The management consists of a group of like-minded self-driven individuals who believe in giving back to society and working together to bring changes in the lives of poor people. The board consists of 10 members including the executive director.

Founder & Executive Director

Mr. Adnan Javeed has recently completed his MPA with Nonprofit Management from #1 Public Affairs School in the US, i.e., O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs Indiana University Bloomington, USA. He always had this ardent desire to address pressing societal issues like poverty, food scarcity, and education, which he had observed since childhood.

In July 2012, during the Ramadan month, he initiated the groundwork for hunger alleviation. A fundraising campaign was launched with the intent to provide essential food supplies to underprivileged families in his hometown of Narowal. Despite starting with a modest sum of 35,000 PKR / $120, his determination remained unshaken. The experience only fueled his determination to do more for those in need. Forming a close-knit team of seven like-minded friends, he identified 15 deserving families. He and his team prepared grocery packages to deliver to the doorsteps of poor families. This heartfelt effort persisted into the following year, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to making a tangible impact.

By 2014, they realized that their efforts, while admirable, needed a more sustainable and impactful approach. Recognizing that merely providing temporary sustenance wasn’t addressing the root causes of these challenges, he conceived the notion of an interest-free microcredit program. This innovative strategy aimed to empower individuals, offering them opportunities to rise above poverty’s clutches.
